Grades for Apple Color
Useful site collecting community-contribued Apple Color grades, to my eyes these produce nicer looks out of the box than the Apple-supplied “Color looks” add-on ColorFX settings. By and large a bit more subtle and more useable with a few tweaks.

5DToRGB for improved HDSLR footage ingest
It seems that the good ‘ol QuickTime is not cutting the mustard when it reads the “h264” from HDSLR cameras like the Canon EOS range and Panasonic GH range. General grunge is added when the footage is converted from the YUV (YCbCr) to RGB colour space i.e. ProRes etc.
