The Buried VR – dreamtime storytelling
An interactive virtual reality project from WA Indigenous writer/director Tyson Mowarin that plunges the viewer into a magical Dreamtime world has received funding from Screen Australia.
The Buried brings to life the mythology, customs and cultural heritage of the Ngarluma people, within a modern context. Set around Murujuga, otherwise known as the Burrup Peninsula in WA’s Pilbara, audiences will be able to see the dreaming of the Ngarluma people through their eyes.
