Philip Bloom was commissioned by the makers of the Axon 7 phone to film a short in London using the phone. What’s interesting, is gimballed moving camera shots Bloom creates. Lots of cinematic ideas here for camera movement.

Toms Shoes has experimented with the 360 degree video format to present a “virtual giving trip” to Peru. Useful to see the production and post-production techniques being trialled here. e.g. where to place the camera, how to interact with it, the use of VO, the positioning of subtitles, how to cut (dip to black) etc.
