Buzz generation for Back to the Future film “reboot”?
Very fast rising YouTube clip featuring a host of celebs testing a new developed “hover” board. Pretty convincing, except for the product shots and branding. Looks like it was stuck together with duct tape and bailing wire. Interesting to see the social media support around the product — the “story” website, Facebook, twitter — messaging like a real tech start-up company.

Projecteo – instagram projector
Cute idea by Mintdigital — an actual projector that screens instagram snaps recorded onto a piece of 35mm film. Is there a market for this?

Linking YouTube channel with Google+ page
YouTube has just released to beta a new feature which allows you to link a YouTube channel with a Google+ page. Previously it was only possible to link to a Google+ profile. In our case this would mean that our YouTube channel would be renamed to “John Curtin”, since that’s what our official Curtin Google+ profile is called.
